Iron Bisglycinate tablets/Syrup have iron which further helps increase absorption of iron from the gut into the bloodstream. iRom Iron Bisglycinate supplement, unlike many iron tablets/Syrup, is a non-constipating iron supplement and contains a form of iron called ferrous bisglycinate which does not irritate the stomach nor the digestive system helping to prevent constipation commonly associated with synthetic iron supplements. Haemoglobin, the carrier of oxygen in the blood, requires adequate iron supply for its manufacture and renewal. Iron is absorbed the best on an empty stomach. Yet, iron supplements can cause stomach cramps, nausea, and diarrhea in some people. You may need to take iron with a small amount of food to avoid this problem. Milk, calcium and antacids should NOT be taken at the same time as iron supplements.

Children : 1/2 teaspoon once or twice daily.
Adult : 1 teaspoon once or twice daily.
